Welcome to my Miniature Polymer Clay Cafe

Well, what can I say, I simply LOVE food. And I love polymer clay and sculpting is my passion. So here I am, having found yet another adventurous journey through wich to marry all three! I have two doll houses…both under various stages of completion. They have great sentimental value to me, and I treasure them both. One was a gift from my husband who purchased it for me from an antique shop. It was a custom made house, simply beautiful and weighs a ton! The second was a gift from my baby brother…OK, so he’s not a baby any more, but he will always be my baby brother…in spite of the fact that he now is married with 3 beautiful children of his own.

My first house I wired, wallpapered and decorated and added a nursery fit for a baby girl. Not long after I became pregnant, and discovered we were expecting a baby boy…and so the redecorating began and still continues…even now that my wonderful son has just turned 10. WO W time flies!

I do confess, cooking in miniature is far more fun for me than cooking in real life…..however my passion for eating in real life is a whole other story! Creating miniature food became a favourite hobby while designing my dollhouses. Then I tool a very long break, while my professional doll sculpting business took off. I sculpt life-size newborn babies, tiny fairies, small ball jointed dolls, Santas of all sizes and characters from romance novel covers. I needed something to do that was just for fun. Delving back into my polymer clay mini food seemed the perfect pastime while I reinvented myself, reignighted my creativity and redefined my dreams, desires and business.

I love working I mean playing in 1/12th scale for my dollhouses and even more so in 1/6th scale to feed my fairies and fashion dolls.

And so I am looking forward to sharing some of my yummy creations with the you. I’ll post tutorials and news about my upcoming mini food cookbook! It’s such fun to spend time doing the things you love….always remember to follow your bliss!

Thanks for visiting and I wish you a magical day! 🙂
